Frequently Asked Questions

How does Plimus track Affilliate sales?
For each product that you market, you receive sales urls that include the product and your unique affiliate ID. A cookie is added to the potential customer’s computer/device each time an affiliate link is visited, and the cookie is tracked to the point of purchase. Plimus uses pixel-based and flash-based cookies. Flash-based cookies are more reliable and persistent than ordinary cookies and work across multiple web browsers, resulting in greater revenues.

What can I earn in commissions?
You’ll receive a commission on all product sales made through your affiliate url at the following rates:

  • Earn $6.75 on each new monthly premium customer. A 75% commission!
  • Earn $19.98 for each new 6 month plan sold.
  • Earn $34.56 for each new 12 month plan sold.

Payouts apply to new purchases only. Renewals are excluded. There are no limits to how much you can earn!

When do affiliates get paid?

Affiliates are generally paid on the 15th of each month for commissions derived in the previous month. Payment is through a choice of methods, and affiliates can select their preferred mode of payment, such as check, wire transfer, Paypal, and a pre-paid credit card.

There is a minimum payment level of $35, and commissions accumulated below that sum will be carried over and paid out once the payment level is reached.

If an order is refunded, does an Affliate keep the commission?
If an order is cancelled, refunded, or subject to a charge back then no commission will be paid. The customer will be refunded in full and, in such a circumstance, it is not commerically feasible for any commission to be paid. If an affiliate has already received the commission and a transaction is subsequently reversed, the commission payment will need to be repaid or deducted from future payments.
